As a child I constantly nurtured animals. On numerous occasions I brought home animals that I found either homeless or on the road. So for many years my poor father was always there to help and look after with me the ways and strays I homed.

For many years I didn't know what my focus would be in life. That finally changed when I bred my first litter of puppies using my original Labrador Jeffrey as the sire. I knew then that all I wanted to do was breed beautiful puppies and change peoples lives by introducing them to the joy of owning a Labrador, and experience the unconditional love that these wonderful animals give. I am so lucky to be able to live my dream and every day I work so hard so that all my customers can experience the joy of a Ridgeway Labrador puppy

Having been a breeder since 1998 the vast majority of my puppies that I breed and subsequently sell are either through recommendation or families that want to carry on and keep adding to their family. If you decide that a Labrador is the dog that you would love to commit to then please contact me and I will endeavour to do my best at helping you find a puppy that will suit you and your family. I will work with you all the way through so so that this dog becomes everything you expect and more.
Its what I do best and will help you as much as I can. Thank you, Helen.

Dear Friends

The last 2 months have been exhausting I recently moved house still in North Devon but very last minute and just before Xmas to a beautiful smallholding in the countryside! The dogs are so happy and so am I! It was hard as the day before the move my beautiful Beagle Stanley had to be put to sleep after a 4 month battle with a mouth tumour and I nursed him for months it really has hit me hard. Last year I lost Henry and now Stanley.

On a positive note Pippy is due in season anytime and have a puppy list I've had so many enquiries over the past few weeks it's unreal but until the litter is born it's difficult to say but I do have Roxy coming through summertime as well.

So for all people that have emailed please be patient I'm so busy but will try and help but u may have to wait at least 10 months for a puppy as Pippys litter is full.

I do hope we have a better year so love to u all

Helen
